Side 2: Side 2 was caught up in a colony drop by the Principality of Zeon forces during the One Year War and was nearly annihilated. Following the war, they expressed their support for the anti-Earth Federation organization known as the AEUG and were able to make a recovery. As a result, they were attacked by the colony laser and poison gas operations by the Titans during the Gryps War which resulted in many victims. Just last year, they were invaded by the Neo Zeon forces.
Olympus Colony: A private colony belonging to Anaheim Electronics in Side 2. Many of the residents families here have some connection to AE. Attached to the colony is a mining asteroid along with a unique rare metal mining plant. During the Neo Zeon’s Side 2 invasion that happened the previous year, they shielded themselves behind their position of nonaggression. It is said that there is also a colony in the Jupiter Sphere with the same name.
