OUTLINE
【概要】

The year is U.C.0094. In a region of space, combat testing for the Delta Kai is underway. The unit is equipped with the NITRO system, or Newtype Injection Trace Reformed Oldtype, a psycommu device that allows for ordinary pilots to exhibit Newtype abilities. This also allows for control of the prototype fin funnels the unit carries. The unit engages the MSN-001A1 Delta Plus and subsequently defeats it in battle, however just following the battle, an enemy appears…

Sophie Rom: A female officer assigned to the Mariana Base. Rank is Lieutenant JG. She was assigned as an operator for the Delta Kai that underwent experimental combat in a certain sector. Left behind by the Raven team revolt during training, she volunteers to be an operator for the Martin team.

Minoru Popp: A mechanic posted to Area X located in the restricted territory of Void Cliff. He is also the exclusive mechanic of the Delta Kai.

Locke Hawker: An officer of the Federation Forces. While it is certain he is someone with ties to Area X, details are unknown. He is a mysterious man individual with secret reasons for continuing to monitor the Delta Kai.

MARTIN TEAM
【マーティン小隊】

Breia Ruede: An ensign affiliated with the Mariana Base’s Martin team. As Ing’s twin brother, he is often mistaken for him. Although he himself doesn’t believe he is better than his brother, it seems as though he possesses a hidden talent based on watching his actions during training.

Ing Ruede: An ensign affiliated with the Mariana Base’s Martin team. He is the test pilot of the Delta Kai. While his results are excellent, his behavior appears to be quite questionable.

Martin Murtaugh: Commander of the Martin team. Rank is Lieutenant. Together with Ing and the others, he wages a bitter battle against the Raven team. He is also a cook.

Piko Altidore: Commander of the Raven unit. Rank is Lieutenant. She freely pilots a Jegan D type and makes a fool of the Delta Kai which boasts strong fighting potential. Why the Raven team has rose up in revolt will likely be talked about in the future.
