PIZARRO-CLASS MOBILE TRANSPORT SHIP
A mobile transport ship utilized by the Earth Federation Forces to transport their MBT to the front line and allowed for prompt sortie and lineup. It is organized to store one suit per hatch on either side of the ship so it is able to launch one squadron of MBT comprised of 12 units simultaneously. In order to fulfill its duties as a landing ship that carries MBT to the front line battle area, two anti-aircraft and ground turrents are installed at the bow and aft.
The mobile suits stand vertically when the hatch is closed. When the hatch opens, the mobile suit bed tilts. As the bed tilts, the mobile suit bed is reinforced with wire. When it’s time to launch, the wire breaks away.
The side hatch opens towards the top and the bed that the MBT are secured to is pushed out so the aircraft can be dropped on to the front lines.
