CROSSBONE GUNDAM DRAFT

PRODUCTION THEMES
○ Combat is the focus → Hand-to-hand combat and wrestling between machines instead of elegant fights.
○ There must be a worthy (strong) enemy.

◇ There is the Jupiter Fleet & the Jupiter Republic

    • The true form behind them both is the Jupiter Empire, an autocratic system (Behind a backdrop of inevitability whereby the Jupiter Fleet could not possibly have managed without this system).
    • The Jupiter Emperor Cruz Dogatie (possibly a cyber brain).
    • Perhaps this could be the story of the Jupiter Fleet before V Gundam’s Angel Halo.

◇ What Stands in Their Way

    • The Space Crossbone (Space Pirates) led by Berah Ronah (Cecliy Fairchild)
    • Their flagship is the Mother Vanguard.
    • Vanguard 1, 2, and 3 are small assault craft built into it.
    • The Vanguards (Sinope type) have two small mobile suits each.
    • The small mobile suits are six 10-meter class Zondo Gei.
    • In addition to the above, there is one solid and agile mobile suit: the Crossbone Gundam.
    • The formation of the Space Crossbone (Space Pirates) is assumed to have been formed around the background of Cosmo Cross’s martyrdom of Sherindon Ronah (Sherry). However, Dorel Ronah has fallen into a sexual relationship with Sherry and stays in the shadows of the story.
    • Their mothership, the Mother Vanguard, is the ultimate high-speed battleship, completed with Monica and SNRI’s technical backing.

□ Notes on Depicting Battles

    • The Space Crossbone (space pirates) goal is to purge the people involved in the system in a corrupt way and destroy the dangerous hard system.
    • Building upon these, their ultimate goal is to foil the empire’s ambitions.
    • So, members of the Space Crossbone fight in a way that avoids killing people.
    • Thus, their battles often turn into a struggle, and the battle scenes look very fierce.
    • So, for the depiction, the space pirates often say things like, “If only we could destroy them all in one go!”
    • This self-control is not just based on Berah Ronah’s orders but also a creed amongst the whole staff. Always make it clear that they are followers of the Cosmo Cross doctrine.
    • The world of the story should be one where we can see a part of Amakusa Shiro’s world and the world of the martyrs.
    • However, as they need the hard system to live in space, the Space Crossbone always tries to use whatever they can; they loot every piece of equipment they capture from the Jupiter Empire.

□ Invasion of the Jupiter Empire

    • The Space Crossbone invades the Jupiter Empire in the final stage of the story. However, this is also a depiction of the living space of this story.
    • The Space Crossbone is based on one of the meteorites attached to Jupiter’s moons. When Crux Dogatie established his Jupiter Empire system, he would hollow out one of the satellites to lay claim to the land.
    • Ultimately, this design should be crafted to be an obstacle in overthrowing Crux Dogatie. Don’t be too broad.

□ BACKGROUND TO THE ORIGIN OF THE STORY

While studying under Meitzer, Berah Ronah was psychologically scarred by the mass murders carried out by her father, Carrozo aka the Iron Mask. Although Meitzer abandoned the idea of establishing Cosmo Babylonia during the post-war maneuverings with the Earth Federation government, it was a bargaining point for having all suspicions of war crimes dropped. The assets acquired at this time became the backdrop for the Space Crossbone. Since the Buch Concern was maintained as a separate corporation, it became the technological and economic backbone for the Space Crossbone, which also absorbed part of SNRI at this time.

Although Meitzer died at the end of the post-war process, Berah Ronah and the others discovered the Jupiter Empire, a former enemy of the Earth Federation government. The Earth Federation government believes that the Jupiter Fleet is nothing more than a public corporation. They decided that the only way to take it down is with pirates on a personal level.

Zabine Chareux, a follower of Berah Ronah, is commander of the combat forces for the Space Crossbone because part of her cannot give up cosmo aristocracy. This is why she wanted to get away from the Earth Federation government, even if it was just one step away. However, as he came into contact with the Jupiter Empire, he began to anticipate a second coming of the cosmo aristocracy and becomes the catalyst for an internal rift of the Space Crossbone.

Kinkedo Nau (Seabook Arno) is a Gundam pilot thanks to his naïve agreement with Berah Ronah, which makes him a brave man though nothing more. But, when there’s an internal rift in the Space Crossbone and a partial setback in the Jupiter Empire, Kinkedo Nau rescues Berah Ronah, making it a story that ends with just the two of them leaving.

□ THINKING ABOUT ELEMENTS LEFT OVER FROM F91

Forget Dwight, Sam, George, and the others around Seabook, there shouldn’t be a Space Ark, and forget Reese, assuming Monica managed to do it.

CROSSBONE GUNDAM
STORY DRAFT

Chapter.01 Space Pirates

□ A time when Cosmo Babylonia has ceased to exist (Don’t talk about such things)
□ Near Jupiter

The emblem on the Space Vanguard’s beam flag is a crossbone.

“Space pirates!”

A Jupiter Empire cruiser, undergoing resupply from a meteorite, is jolted. The cruiser is captured in a primitive fashion that doesn’t involve mobile suits, and the Crossbone’s vanguard launches their attack.

Vanguards 1, 2, and 3 from the Mother Vanguard. Six small mobile suits, the Zondo-Gei, jumping out from them.

The one-eyed Zabine Chareux commands the vanguard.

Capturing of supplies. Only the destruction of machines as weapons and the destruction of the hard system (it is the fate of outer space that man should die from it).

With a crossbones beam flag, a Gundam patrols the perimeter of the cruiser. The dignified appearance of the Gundam terrifies the Jupiter Emperor’s officers and men.

However, from behind the cruiser, a hidden mobile suit attacks the Crossbone Gundam.

However, during a gap in the machine’s fight, Kinkedo Nau leaps out of the Gundam’s cockpit, luring the Jovian pilot out of theirs, forcing them to flee into space.

This spells certain death, but the pilot, thinking he is temporarily saved, drifts towards Jupiter, which appears to loom before them.

The Space Vanguard is retreating at high speed while the Mother Vanguard captures the Jovian forces’ mobile suits to become part of their own fighting strength.

Standing on the bridge is their female commander, Berah Ronah.

The Jupiter Empire did not build an independent nation just for show. If we don’t crush them now, everyone within the Earth Sphere will be wiped out as Old Types.

The Following is the Main Story Line

The Space Crossbone destroy a Jupiter Empire transport fleet.

Among the passengers of the transport fleet was Tetenith Dogatie, granddaughter of Crux Dogatie. As she took the initiative to surrender, Kinkedo took her into custody. Neither killing the prisoners nor banishing them into space goes against their rules as space pirates.

Zabine Chareux criticizes Kinkedo’s actions.

However, Berah Ronah, despite her misgivings about it, breaks up the scuffle between Kinkedo and Zabine, treating Tetenith as a prisoner. Thus is Berah’s naivete towards Kinkedo. Zabine tacitly approves of this only because Tetenith is an aristocratic young girl who fits Zabine’s idea of cosmo-aristocracy (the causes of Self Discipline=Drama is people’s carelessness, guile, and desire).

Additionally, they find out more details about the Empire’s goals from Tetenith, giving her even more privileges than the regular prisoner. (It is evident that Crux Dogatie intends to purge humanity from the Earth Sphere. Hopefully, Tetenith will provide more than circumstantial evidence to prove this…) Make Idmon Barrow the enemy of this story as he’s the Jupiter Empire pilot of the small mobile suit who cleverly escaped in the first chapter.

Idmon receives intel from a survivor of the transport that the Space Crossbone has captured Tetenith Dogatie, so he leads an army to retrieve her. (He can’t contact them directly. That would mean that the Jovian forces are aware of the Space Crossbone’s movements. Keep this in mind.) We need some sort of setting, like Idmon’s forces setting up a patrol to intercept and contact the Mother Vanguard when they attack the Empire’s supply lines at certain points.

When Idmon intercepts the Mother Vanguard, he learns that Tetenith Dogatie is on the ship (don’t forget that Kinkedo and Zabine are not just static in the setting but have set up the contact after observing Idmon’s attack patterns and knowing that he has come to save her). Idmon, who knew that she wanted to go to Earth (as they are lovers) found out that Tetenith intends to stay on the Mother Vanguard (I want this to be illustrated as part of the battle sequence). As Idmon wants to be with Tetenith, he engaged in combat to fool his troops before offering to surrender to Zabine in exchange for his own valuable new mobile suit.

In honor of Tetenith, Zabine checks Idmon’s status and accepts his surrender.

Idmon Barrow loves Tetenith. While he was taught more than Tetenith about the Jupiter Empire’s secrets and the military, he also laments how difficult it is to be a nobleman. He has a noble spirit. Zabine likes him, but Berah Ronah doesn’t trust him because she believes in the philosophy that once a man betrays you, he’ll do so again. Kinkedo acts as a mediator between Idmon and Berah, and Idmon is treated as a guest by the Space Crossbone (it’s possible to establish that Supreme Commander Cruz Dogatie is aware that Idmon might betray him).

(You could also have the small mobile suit hold a secret key that affects the story)

An operation is carried out to prove that Idmon’s intel is true (how to consider). Once that happens, Berah Ronah accepts Idmon, and Kinkedo feels that his debt to Zabine (for not killing Tetenith) has been wiped clean. Furthermore, Idmon brings up offering to work for the Space Vanguard. Zabine is initially wary of Idmon, but when he says that Zabine’s noble aspirations move him, Zabine trusts him. Tetenith, however, will come to dislike Idmon without even realizing it.

Kinkedo, meanwhile, thinks Idmon’s change of heart is the real deal, but at the same time, he’s also struck by the fact that Berah can’t be trusted. A friendship develops between Zabine and Idmon. Gaps begin to form between Kinkedo, Zabine, and Idmon (prepare to depict this type of scene through battle). By the time we get to the next episode, there has been at least one more operation.

The Mother Vanguard returns to their base, Church, with a considerable amount of war spoils and intel. A huge stone had been hollowed out and rotated with its center of gravity shifted to one side, which made it look awkward, but it seemed to be serving as their cover. Much to their surprise, there was Sherindon Ronah (Sherry), the founder of Cosmo Cross and cousin of Berah Ronah. Leaving a dummy behind back home, she had ventured out to this remote area for some time off to meditate (we’ll say the transit time from the Earth Sphere is about two months?).

Dorel Ronah did not come.

Tetenith Dogatie and Idmon Barrow learn that the Space Crossbone (Cosmo Crossbone) is based on Cosmo Cross’s martyrdom. The Space Vanguard may have new recruits under Sherry’s banner.

Kinkedo may have an affair out of cherishing Berah, though Tetenith would be an appropriate partner. Tetenith being a Cosmo Cross believer would work for the story, although Tetenith becoming a Cosmo Cross believer would also be good. Also, there should be a story about what happened before the reconciliation with Berah. What is important is that Tetenith misses the opportunity to go to Earth with Sherry from Cosmo Cross because of this incident.

Furthermore, there are several other operations that will take place during the next episode.

The invasion into the core of the Jupiter Empire takes place with the Mother Vanguard. The Mother Vanguard is able to take out the core of the Jupiter Empire, but Zabine Chareux, knowing that Crux Dogatie is nearby, tries to surrender to the Jupiter Empire with Tetenith as a souvenir. Zabine’s yearning for a cosmo-aristocracy is what drove him to do it.

Idmon tacitly agreed to this because Zabine had been thinking of a method of sabotage from within the Mother Vanguard when he was operating under the will of Crux Dogatie. However, there is no conspiring with Zabine. It was a matter of anticipating the other’s moves.

However, Tetenith, aided by Kinkedo’s actions, returned to the Mother Vanguard, so only Zabine went with Crux Dogatie. Berah may become jealous about the return of Tetenith, but this level has been surpassed, and it should be seen from a philosophical perspective now. This should be the case for both Tetnith and Kinkedo. Tetenith should reexamine the presence of Idmon on the Mother Vanguard.

The Mother Vanguard is on a rampage inside the Jupiter Empire’s airspace, and the Empire seems to be falling apart. The efforts of the Crossbone Gundam are also quite remarkable. Kinkedo has a feeling that Berah will feel better now. He is able to destroy the satellite city that is the symbol of the Jupiter Empire.

Nonetheless, it was to Crux who Zabine had surrendered to. Dogatie’s forces are the only ones that escape.

Aware of the existence of these forces that were fleeing, Idmon tries to carry out what he did with Zabine. However, he is still unable to abandon Tetenith, with whom he rebuilt his relationship, so he confesses that he will betray the Mother Vanguard. Tetenith refuses him, and Idmon leaves the Mother Vanguard alone. Berah Ronah’s fears had come true. When the Mother Vanguard returns to its base at Church, Zabine’s forces under Crux Dogatie attack. Of course, the troops were led by Idmon Barrow.

But, Kinkedo was strong enough now to crush Crux Dogatie.

On the other hand, Tetenith is in a position to see Idmon from up close and may try to stab him. At this moment, Idmon painfully comes to grips with having gone after a man (pursuing Zabine) and gives Kinkedo the opportunity to defeat Zabine in order to apologize to Tetenith. Kinkedo defeats Zabine, who is dogmatic, and asks Berah if this is what was wanted. Berah praises Kinkedo, believing that he does not know about her relationship with Zabine.

In order to deepen their relationship, Kinkedo and Berah quietly enter a course to return to the Earth Sphere.
