【概要】

UC.0085 – Asuna Elmarit, born on Side 3, is admitted to the Federation Forces mobile suit training school. However, due to her hatreted towards conflict she’s viewed as inferior at school. Behind the scenes at the school, a joint secret project committee of military and civilians manipulates things in order to proceed with military affairs use of Newtypes. Eluding dangerous experiments and training sessions, Asuna’s Newtype abilities blossom.

UC0085. Asuna Elmarit, a girl hailing from the Republic of Zeon, who should have been dwelling with that sector of humanity in the vastness of space, was discovered by a project devoted to acquiring the “Newtype” power key to battlefield dominance and recruited by the “Committee” into the Federation training school, “Ecole.” After going through simulation training and surviving a live round training incident during an exercise, her curriculum shifts to space. Instructors and classmates; many people’s lives are lost due to the treachery of “Committee” member Forma. In battle, the awakened Asuna shoots down 5 mobile suits, but her precious Shinn was killed in action. Learning the cause of his death, Asuna flees Ecole.

With Shinn dead and her mind opened by Erisia, Asuna flees “Ecole” in despair, joining the ex-Zeon pirates under Marie. With new friends watching over her, like the war orphan Juna and mechanic Pops, Asuna learns about life and hardship. After being caught up in a kidnapping incident by the Titans on Side 6, they participate in testing for a stolen Gundam Mk-II for the AEUG on the moon. The Titans, in pursuit of Marie and Asuna, take Asuna’s mother Haruka hostage and lay a trap to tie up all loose ends. In the face of overwhelming military force, Marie dies, and the pirates are destroyed.
