BACKGROUND
The unit was developed by Zeonic with the intent to improve on the mobility, armor and firepower of the Zaku II. Although it was officially cleared for production, it was developed at the same time as the MS-07B Gouf so production was suspended and overall there were only 50 units that rolled off the line. Based on the MS-06J Zaku II, this suit upgrades mobility and adds internal power ducts to the legs along with supplementary vernier thrusters. This particular unit is equipped with a high-power generator developed near the end of the war, allowing it to power parts a standard Zaku II couldn’t support. Although the Federation Forces confiscated these units at the end of the One Year War, Deen was given a unit through black market channels.
