As far as we know, no there was no secret escape, and yes Amuro and Char are both dead.
As for Full Frontal, he's not really Char. It's explained later on in the story.

It's not a movie, it's a six-episode OVA(episodes are an hour long). And the first episode is slated for release in March.

Interesting that the clip contained almost exactly the same events as the first volume of bande dessinee - and ended at the same point. Is that where the first novel ends too I wonder?

i'm not usually a fan of mono-eyes unless they look exceptionally awsome and are badass in battle. that video showed me how kshatrya is full of win. the jegans were nothing short of awsome even though two of them died (in the most spectacular way ever) without doing much.

Notice how they are able to dodge the initial bit attacks? Just prove that the pilots or the OS had greatly improve. At this time it very possible that non-newtype are really catching up. I really hope this tied in the Gundam ZZ series into the UC timeline. Strong points would be Zabi, Puru 12 and kshatrya. I still see people saying Gundam ZZ is an Alt timeline. I hope this can bring down the false facts and give Gundam ZZ it credits it deserve. |

This may be getting off-topic, but as far as ZZ goes, I do like the breadth of the story. It's a long road, but it wraps up many questions left after the Gryps conflict and I was happy to see Kamille out of his coma. I could have done without beat-to-death character type of Judau and the equally-beat-to-death gundamjacking routine. And don't get me started on the actual ZZ itself - looks like Zeta's ugly older brother who is a little slow and the family doesn't talk about - and I've never been a fan of Gattai in Gundam series (/cough Impulse). I better cool it now or I'll start ranting. One last shot though: Moon people?
Anyway, for all it's less-than-perfect issues, it has many good plot points and a lot of mecha - especially from the Neo Zeon. A good watch.
